New York Violinist, Suzanne Davies, joined Princeton String Academy in the fall of 2011. Ms. Davies has a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Columbia University, and her teaching is also influenced by her Suzuki teacher training. While still a s tudent at Columbia, seh was twice awarded the Richard and Brooke Kamin Rapaport Summer Music Performance Fellowship, and has received training at the National Orchestral Institute, Round Top Festival Institute, Meadowmount School for Strings, and Boston University Tanglewood Institute. She performs regularly in New York City with a variety of classical and musical theater ensembles, such as the Bronx Opera Orchestra, Prospect Theater Company, and the Curiosity Cabinet, a contemporary music ensemble. Ms. Davies is also a teaching artist at the Phil Ramone Orchestra for Children, a musical outreach program in East Harlem.
