Tuition
There are two basic fee plans, based on the length of the academic year. The group lesson fee of $350 does not change regardless of plan choice. Prospective new beginning students and parents are required to observe two lessons of a current student at the Princeton String Academy. A prospective new student who is currently playing the instrument may receive a free half-hour trial lesson.
Plan One
Students who take lessons only in the 37-week academic year (September - June), pay for private lessons at a rate of $37/Half Hour, $55.50/Forty-Five Minutes, or an hour rate of $74. Fewer than six lessons during the summer will be charged at the Plan One hourly rate.
Plan Two
Students who take lessons in the 37-week academic year (September - June) plus at least six out of eight lessons during the summer, pay for lessons at a rate of $35/Half Hour, $52.50/Forty-Five Minutes, or an hour rate of $70. If a family decides not to take the summer lessons but has been enrolled in Plan Two, an exit fee will be assessed.
