Three String Recitals November 15
PRINCETON – November 3, 2003 – Violin and viola students enrolled at Princeton String Academy will give three public recitals Saturday, November 15 at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 177 Princeton-Hightstown Road in Princeton Junction.
“Students benefit from recitals in several different ways. One, a performance is a chance for original expression, another chance to show people who you are. Two, actual music making is one of the best ways musical learning takes place. Finally, through the recitals, parents, siblings, and other family members become active participants in the child’s musical education,” said Paul Manulik, Princeton String Academy music director. ”For these reasons, we give this opportunity to all of our students once or twice each year, regardless of their experience level.”
Soloists ranging in age from four through high school will perform at the free public recitals. Recitals will begin at 1:00, 2:30 and 4:00 p.m. and each will last approximately 45 minutes. A reception hosted by parents for all guests will follow each recital.
