Philadelphia Symphony Violinist Jonathan Beiler led the Princeton String Academy Master Class November 8. Mr. Beiler critiqued five violinists during a 90-minute class, the first in a series underwritten by the Princeton String Academy.

A member of the Philadelphia Orchestra since 1976, Mr. Beiler has also performed with the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra and the St. Louis Symphony. He has studied with Broadus Erle and Syoko Aki at Yale University, and with Josef Gingold at Indiana University. Mr. Beiler earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Yale University. He is on the faculty of Temple University and also maintains a private teaching studio in Haddonfield, New Jersey.
