Outdoor Summer Concert

August 1 at Acorn Glen

PRINCETON – June 28, 2003 – Princeton String Academy violin and viola students will give an outdoor concert Friday, August 1 at Acorn Glen, 775 Mt. Lucas Road in Princeton. Celebrating summer and learning, the informal event will begin at 7 p.m. In the event of rain, the concert will be moved indoors to the grand foyer. A reception for players and all guests will follow the concert.

“Playing for an audience gives students a chance to share their accomplishments and the joy of music. We’re delighted to be performing at Acorn Glen in a beautiful outdoor setting,” said Music Director Paul Manulik. “Many of our students have been away, attending summer institutes and workshops, and this concert will give them an opportunity to show what they’ve learned.”

Princeton String Academy with Music Director Paul Manulik offers violin and viola instruction to students as young as three. Using the proven Suzuki Method that emphasizes development of natural talent, students study in both private lessons and weekly group classes. The private school was founded in 2000 and has an enrollment of 50 students. For more information, go to www.stringacademy.info.
