Learn about our First Stringers, past students who have excelled through their parents' support and their own diligence.

Our 100-Day Club helps students develop good practice habits and routines. Parents are encouraged to create their own informal performance opportunities for family and friends and to create musical play-dates for their children with students of a similar age and ability.

News about Princeton String Academy.

The Suzuki Method trains the ear before the eye. Students are taught basic listening and playing skills before note reading is introduced, in the same way children learn to speak and understand language before reading is introduced.

Private lessons range in length from 30 minutes to a full hour, depending on the age, attention span and playing level of the student.

Ensemble and Theory classes are 45 - 60 minutes and are required, with specific classes determined by the age and playing level of the student.

Playing opportunities include recitals, group concerts, Master classes, Performance classes, Play-Ins and Outreach concerts.
